Epstein Files Show why Palace Needs to Stop Protecting Andrew

What I Couldn’t Publish, Why it Matters, and Why it Will Resurface

My appearance today on Good Morning Britain, I made clear that the material already in the public domain concerning Prince Andrew is only part of a much larger picture.

In the years spent researching ‘Entitled’ I uncovered extensive evidence relating not only to his associations with Jeffrey Epstein, but to wider patterns of financial misconduct, questionable business dealings overseas, and a persistent failure of accountability. Much of this material could not be published at the time for legal reasons, but it has been offered to the relevant authorities and remains unresolved.

There will much more on this when I publish the updated paperback in May.

I talked about why more questions need to be asked about Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie’s finances and how they may be too entwined with their parent’s business dealings.

I also addressed the continuing role of the royal household in managing, rather than confronting, these issues. While there have been visible attempts to distance Prince Andrew from public life, behind the scenes he continues to benefit from protection and silence. Public opinion has moved decisively ahead of the Palace on the question of accountability.

Looking ahead, the pressure will only increase. Investigations in the United States have not gone away, and material has already been shared with British authorities. Whether action follows remains to be seen. What is clear is that this problem cannot simply be wished out of sight. If the monarchy is to retain credibility in the modern age, it must confront these issues openly rather than relying on containment, delay, or managed disappearance.
